Does anyone know about video cards in a computer?

Ok I had to erase my hard drive with the disk that came with my laptop, because I was having problems with it, and I had already had a video card installed on teh computer, because the computers graphics were fine before, such as I could play videos fine and the screen graphics were good, now the picture on my moniter is blurry, and the videos are also, so how can I restore the video card that is already installed on my computer? The computer says the destop is set at default when I went to control panel-display-settings. It was not like that before. I dont know much about them as you already can tell.|||Yes i believe you need to find the graphic card disk and that will have the last driver for that card, if not, need to go to a site for free drivers downloads...........just you need to find out the make..... and stats........ to your card.......look up, and download ........ here i will do you a favor....... here is a good site .(NVIDIA.COM)...............should and does have all the updated drivers for the cards i use all the time ..this is called regular maintenance,,,,,,,,,hoped this helped .....knerps1@.......|||You did a recovery correct? Make sure to do all of the windows updates and then try and see what happens. Also if that does not work, try to reduce the resolution a little.
