Where can I buy video cards built for laptops online?
I want to custom install a video card into my laptop, but everywhere I look only sells desktop cards. Is it possible to purchase these on their own? Specifically, I've been looking for a GeForce 9800M GTX for gaming while I'm away in college. Must I bring it to a service center to get this procedure done? Thanks for any answers.|||Sorry but there are no RETAIL internal graphics cards for most laptops because they do not have any expansion option/space at all. A few that do have upgrade option can only use proprietary card from laptop maker. Try checking that option from website of your laptop manufacturer.|||Most laptop's video cards are not exchangeable. They are built into the motherboard and therefore permanent. You will need to purchase a new laptop to get a new video chipset.
