I have a Acer Aspire 5630 and i would like to play the sims 3. It needs a higher video card to play though.|||The only external GPU I know of is the ASUS XG station

also, external video cards are not designed to run games, they are designed to allow multiple external monitors to be run off a laptop.|||There ARE external USB video cards IOgear makes several.

I saw one in Fry's for around $60.
You will pay more for one that has DVI or HDMI output.
