Can you upgrade your video card for a laptop?

I have a HP laptop fairly new, but has a weak video/graphic card compared to most modern high end laptops. Is it possible to get it upgraded to like something like a 9600GT at bestbuy etc.?|||no, even if you could put in a new vid card it would barely be better than what u already have. if you are interested in playing pc games with good graphics do what i did. I bought a cheap computer from frys that was upgradable. I then went to newegg.com and purchased a video card, an upgraded power supply, and more ram. all this cost around 700 dollars. I put in all of the parts my self and i am a freshman in high school. its not hard. go on youtube. they have good videos there. hoped i helped!|||The video and graphics cards are actually chip sets made into the mother board. You would have to replace the mother board and the cost would not be worth it.|||Nope, not possible.
