2 laptops, 2 different processors & 2 difrnt video cards, which is the best option(i been searching for 48 hrs)?

Okay, i narrowed lots of choices from my budget range, and it came down to this.

these are 2 great laptops, but with just 1 problem.

which one delivers the best gaming experience (i.e: which one can run new games on max with good graphics and high fps "40~50")

the Sony Vaio VPCEB17FG, with and i3 2.13ghz 330m processor, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1gb DDR3

and the HP Pavilion DV6-2153ee with and i5 2.40ghz 520m processor, and an Nvidia GT230M 1gb DDR3

from the reviews and the benchmarks i saw, the ATI is at least 25% better than the nvidia since it also supports DirectX 11 and 5.0 shader (while the nvidia supports only DirectX10 and 4.1 shader), but the i5 processor is far superior than the i3 with its Turbo Boost which results in a max of 2.9ghz.

so i'm confused here....|||Just based on brand name alone, skip the HP. See below:

Yes, I know that doesn't answer your question.|||Neither one of those systems will be capable of running new games on 'max' with high FPS in all cases.

The Radeon HD 5650 is a better graphics card. However, the Core i5 processor is a faster processor.

In gaming overall the Sony system should be faster even though it has a slower processor.

In most games both of those processors will provide enough ummph to get the game going pretty good, the bottleneck between those 2 systems will most of the times come down to the graphics card. Since your target is gaming performance the Sony system will be your best choice because the GPU is better.
