Can you replace the video card in an acer aspire one laptop?

or does the laptop even have a video card?|||No, you cannot replace it. The Aspire One, like most laptops and netbooks, has on board video, meaning that it is built into the motherboard. Technically, you could have it replaced but it would cost way less to buy a new laptop.

My son has an Aspire One and we have found out that you are really limited to what games you can play on it because of this. But then again, this netbook wasn't made with gaming in mind.|||Depends, if your laptop does indeed have a dedicated video card then the ultimate answer is usually yes you can. However, I have read that it is quite expensive and getting a better laptop with the card you want inside is simply cheaper.|||I don't know that particular model but almost no laptops have video cards. They have onboard graphics, which is just a chip built into the motherboard. You can't replace or upgrade it.
