I'm seeking a laptop that can support up to 16GB of memory, and has a video card that can support at least a pixel shader of 3.0 or higher. So anything with a crap HD 3000 doesn't make the cut.

Your not going to find any laptop with those specs at a price under $800 unless you go to eBay.|||That seems too ambitious. You won't find anything like that for less than $800.
